Nature Documentary – Lud

September 30 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The public is invited to view the Nature documentary “A Sloth Named Velcro” Monday, September 30, 6:00 pm at the Ludington Library.

In 2000, Ana Salceda, a young journalist moved from her native Spain to explore the wilds of Panama. She became the caregiver for a tiny orphaned baby sloth, named Velcro. This is the story of Ana’s return to Central and South America to see how much has changed since Velcro came into her life. Sloths, once largely ignored, have become a hot topic of scientific researchers. New studies show that they’re not so sloth-like after all.

Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Mason County District Library programs are free.
