Free Ice Skate Rental

Our Ludington Library has ice skates, with free rental, for all library card holders. Call Ludington (231) 843-8465 during our normal hours, or email the library at to tell us the size(s) needed. Our staff will pull the skates and you will receive a call, text, or email letting you know that the skates are ready for you! Ice skates will be spray-disinfected when they are returned.

One great place to get acquainted (or re-acquainted) with skating is on the synthetic-surface skating rink in the Waterfront Park, under the Band Pavilion. The park is located at 391 S. William St. in Ludington.

Engine Creative LLC and Pennies from Heaven Foundation joined forces to purchase 100 pairs of new ice skates for the program and new skate lockers store the skates in the library will be manufactured and donated by Metalworks.
