Let’s Play Outside!

This event has ended for the summer. However, the back yard of the Ludington Library is available during regular library hours for children with their guardians to come and play outside.

Children and families are invited to play outside at Mason County District Library this summer. Library staff members have planned a variety of games and activities for elementary school aged children to enjoy outdoors.

Beginning June 14, and continuing throughout the summer, events are scheduled for Mondays at 1:00 pm at the Ludington Library backyard, and Wednesdays at 1:00 pm in the Scottville Library front yard. C’mon out and play! Be prepared for messy fun. Events will be cancelled if there is lightning, heavy rain, or high winds. Wear a mask. There will be capacity limits, so please arrive early.

Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Mason County District Library programs are free. Remember to sign up for our Summer Reading Program while you are here. Everyone can join. There are activities for readers of all ages – infant to adult.
