Our regularly scheduled children’s programs are highlighted below.

Our Summer Reading Program for 2026 has officially begun! See our Events Calendar for daily events. Special SRP children’s events are scheduled throughout June, July, and August.
Ludington Library’s specials are usually on Mondays starting at 1:00 pm. In Scottville Library, the specials are usually at 1:00 pm on Wednesdays. There are exceptions!
1-2-3 Rhyme with Me (Ages 0 to 3)
Children ages 0 to 3 and their caregivers are invited to participate in 123 Rhyme with Me, which meets Mondays at 10:00 a.m. Ms. Emily leads everyone in songs and rhymes, and then stay and play! Our Ludington branch children’s area is available, plus some weeks we’ll have some Sensory play after our rhymes are done. Encourage literacy and social-emotional skills in your children with the Mason County District Library.
Summer 2026 Story Times
10 am on Tuesdays in the West Shore Bank Room at the Ludington Library with Ms. Lisa for preschoolers and guardians with songs, rhymes, dance, and a story. Stay for a fun craft afterwards.
10 am on Wednesdays with Ms. Emily for preschoolers and guardians with songs, rhymes, dance, and a story. Stay for a fun craft afterwards.
10 am on Fridays in the Community Room at the Scottville Library with Ms. Lisa for preschoolers and guardians with songs, rhymes, dance, and a story. Stay for a fun craft afterwards.
