The Activity Pass

For 12 years, The Michigan Activity Pass has offered library card holders access to free and discounted attractions around the state. In 2019 the program added 33 new destinations bumping its total to more than 450 locations.

The program is provide by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association and the Library Network.

Using the program

Library card holders access and print out Michigan Activity Pass discounts online.

To use the program, you would need to fill out basic information including your zip code and library branch.

The program then could offer you destinations based on the distance you want to travel. You could select any of them to get more information about the deal the pass provides.

Next you’ll be prompted to pick a date and time for your pass. Then, you would need to fill out an information sheet.

Afterwards, print out your pass and bring it along. The program said you will need to have your pass with you to get access.

The activity pass website can be accessed on your home computer or at one of our library branches. Note that you do need to register for a library card! Visit us to sign up for one now. Card registration information here: http://www.masoncounty.lib.mi.us/registration/
